General Education, the University Bookstore, Apple Computer and other community sponsors are producing the Apple iMovie Fest at Appalachian State University!
The project enables teams of Appalachian State students to create, shoot, edit and produce their experience at Appalachian in a film no longer than five minutes. This film festival is open to all undergraduate students. The only requirement is that they are a student at Appalachian.
This year's theme is "An Appalachian Experience."
Whether you are a first year student or a senior interested in film, creative writing, or fun technology, this is the project for you! If you are of any major or of any year and are interested in short films, viral videos, or like critiquing movies, then this is your chance to shine. Grab your friends and come get more information about this exciting opportunity at the Preproduction Informational Meeting – October 8, 2008 from 6:00 -7:00pm in Old Belk Library Room 004.
No out of pocket costs to you except time. The equipment is provided; the prizes are phenomenal; and the experience is one that you will never forget!
